FASTWEB is one of the main telecommunications providers in Italy. The Company has invested in a new-generation fibre optic network spanning 35,000 kilometres and reaches approximately 50% of the Italian population with its own network, of which 3,7 with Fiber Optic technology. FASTWEB provides customers with a wide range of integrated services (voice – fixed and mobile, data and video) offering broadband services at speeds of up to 100 megabit per second. The company also offers advanced competitive services to all business segments, Vas, Cloud Computing and Security. Since 2007 Fastweb has been part of the Swisscom Group.
FASTWEB is associated to the HDFI aiming to support the growing diffusion of the Internet TV, promoting technological solutions to enable new service models for the broadband digital media delivery.
